About the Scholarship
The Oluwarotimi Akeredolu Memorial Scholarship honours the legacy of His Excellency, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, CON — former Governor of Ondo State, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, and a lifelong advocate of justice, service, and education.
Through this scholarship, the Oluwarotimi Akeredolu Foundation (OAF) supports outstanding law graduates from federal universities in Nigeria who demonstrate academic excellence, integrity, and a strong commitment to the ideals of justice and service. The award provides full or partial financial support for the Nigerian Law School programme.
The initiative reflects the late Governor’s belief that every talented Nigerian deserves access to quality legal education, regardless of background or financial circumstance.

Required Documents
Applicants must upload the following:
- Passport photograph (recent, professional photo).
- Proof of admission or call letter to the Nigerian Law School.
- University academic transcript.
- Degree certificate (LL.B).
- Academic CV (maximum 2 pages).
- Motivation letter (maximum 500 words).
- Introduction video
- Evidence of financial need (e.g. parent/guardian income statement, or personal declaration).
- One letter of recommendation (from a faculty member, dean, or internship supervisor).
